About Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant
A fast-casual takeout or dine-in Caribbean & Jamaican restaurant, conveniently situated on the corner of Tarrytown Road and Fulton Street in White Plains near the Westchester County Center. Known for their family recipes of classic Caribbean food staples, from Jamaican beef patties and coco bread, to jerk chicken, oxtail, and curried goat or chicken. Offerings now include vegetarian and beyond meat alternatives. The bakery boasts numerous enticing options including spice bun, hard dough bread, and carrot cake (among many more delectable items).
I ordered from this location for the 1st time and was NOT impressed at all! I ordered stew chicken probably the simplest thing on the menu and it wasn't to good. It eas very bland not flavorful and it didn't taste like Jamaica food at all. It taste like an American style stew chicken! I could've made it myself at home. I live in New Rochelle and the Golden Krust there taste much better. I thought all Golden Crust would taste the same but I was wrong. I wouldn't order again.
Their food is bad, and it is bad far more times than it is good. This place needs to be shut down permanently. Their plantains are hard as a rock. If you try and eat them, you may break your teeth. Just shut it down. I never go to this place for Jamaican food. I go to Brooklyn or the Bronx, and I live in Hartsdale.
Don’t go to any other GK This one the best !! For food & service.
