Chefs are on point...great work...keep the momento going
This happened on September 1, 2026, at approximately 5:45 PM at the Golden Krust on Merrick Boulevard near 230th Street. In my experience, this is the worst Golden Krust location I’ve ever visited. The employees were nasty, dismissive, and disrespectful. I’ve been to this location before and was previously told that if I was only purchasing beef patties, I did not have to stand in the regular line. This time, I asked an employee where I should order and was told to go to the back of the line. I did exactly that. After joining the line, two customers who came in after me were served before me. Another customer who wasn’t familiar with Jamaican food was also confused about what to order and appeared to be ignored. When I finally reached the front, I asked, “Am I invisible?” An employee eventually took my order for three beef patties, and I also selected additional items. When my patties were placed at the register, the cashier asked whose order they were and then proceeded to serve the customer behind me, even though I had been waiting first. At that point, I felt completely disrespected and decided not to purchase anything. I walked out. I later called the location to speak with a manager. I was told the manager wasn’t there. When I politely asked for the manager’s name, the employee hung up on me. This wasn’t about waiting. It was about being ignored, given conflicting instructions, passed over for customers who arrived after me, treated disrespectfully, and then hung up on when I tried to address the situation. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. Golden Krust needs to seriously address the behavior and professionalism of the employees at this location.
