About Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant
A fast-casual takeout or dine-in Caribbean & Jamaican restaurant, conveniently situated on the corner of 125th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem near Marcus Garvey Park. Known for their family recipes of classic Caribbean food staples, from Jamaican beef patties and coco bread, to jerk chicken, oxtail, and curried goat or chicken. Offerings now include vegetarian and beyond meat alternatives. The bakery boasts numerous enticing options including spice bun, hard dough bread, and carrot cake (among many more delectable items).
I’ve been patronizing this particular golden crust restaurant on W. 125th St. in Harlem since they opened a few years ago. The service is always particularly superb. The food is tasty and taste fresh. This past Friday evening I stopped in and asked for their new shrimp, curry patties. There were none in the oven located in the Customer area. But the young man who wears glasses and I think his name is Ricket RICKETT is the one who said sir if you’ll give me a moment, I’ll get some fresh ones for you. He went into the back kitchen and a few moments later exited with a huge tray of fresh shrimp, curry patties. God bless him for his excellent customer service skills and I hope the management sees this review and rewards this very kind young man as soon as possible.
