Very flavorful food. The food here tastes home-cooked. It is well-seasoned and flavorful and well-prepared. We tried the king fish dinner - seasoned to perfection, excellent texture. We also tried the spinach patties. These were the best I’ve had in years - very flavorful spinach (nice bit of scotch bonnet) and it was not mushy or soggy. Nice spinach-to-crust ratio. The crust was very nice. Crispy and hearty with good flavor. Great customer service.
Ordered an ackee and saltfish meal, asked for little to no oil to go into my container… Their ackee on display is SATURATED WITH OIL. While I was walking with the meal, the oil permeated through the bag and oiled my coat. The oil was literally EVERYWHERE. I was walking home and was so embarrassed that I ended up taking a cab. This is very unacceptable. Very sloppy job. Every time I try to give this place another chance, I get disappointed again. I will not be going back. Ruined my coat, smh. Ridiculous. It turned me off so much that I didn’t even eat the food.
