Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant on Church Avenue

Horrible service at this location 1617 church Avenue, Brooklyn , New York As a first time customer I was appalled by the unprofessional staff at this location. I placed my order for stew chicken and the Caribbean lady at the register was rude immediately speaking to me as if she knew me or as if I was one of her friends waving her hands in air saying what else in a rude tone as if I was annoying her. I asked for rice and peas with cabbage. She started making my plate when I noticed a very small amount of stew chicken so I asked if that was my plate and if so can I see it. She gave me a nasty look and said she is still making it. I said okay and I patiently waited while she went and switched out the pa of stew chicken for a new one. She asked if I wanted gravy, I replied yes thank you. She proceeded back to the register where her coworker handed her another plate of food that belonged to the gentleman on the line behind me. As I’m waiting for her to continue serving me being that I was at the front of the line she decides to bag up and charge the man behind me for his food ignoring the fact that I was also still waiting for her to finish serving me. I was so disgusted with the way I was being treated that I left without the food. I have been in customer service for over 30 years. I am also a manager and would never allow my staff to treat any customer in that way. I was always taught treat people the way you want to be treated! After I left I called the restaurant to speak with management to make my complaint and was told by the same staff member that management was not there to call tomorrow. I knew it was the same person that was serving me so I asked for her name and she put the phone down took another customer then picked the phone back up and she said her name is June. I do not believe that is her name. My doctor’s office is located one block from this location that is what made me go to this specific golden krust in the first place. I hope management speak to that young girl because her attitude and professionalism is horrible. The light skinned young lady that was thete was very polite and professional to everyone I saw her help while I was there waiting in line. It was only the one dark skinned Jamaican girl at the register that was rude and unprofessional. I am in that area 3 times a week and I love golden krust food but never have I experienced such rudeness in any location this I have ever been in except for this location. HORRIBLE SERVICE

Great curry chicken, curry goat, fried chicken and breakfast. The soups are prwttt good as well and you get great service.
