About Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

A fast-casual takeout or dine-in Caribbean & Jamaican restaurant, conveniently situated on Route 22 in Union near B'nai Abraham Memorial Park. Known for their family recipes of classic Caribbean food staples, from Jamaican beef patties and coco bread, to jerk chicken, oxtail, and curried goat or chicken. Offerings now include vegetarian and beyond meat alternatives. The bakery boasts numerous enticing options including spice bun, hard dough bread, and carrot cake (among many more delectable items).

Ordered jerk wings and they came with a lot of feathers. This was such a turn off and waste of money. 🪶

The staff often acts like they don’t even see you, and there’s zero care put into packing take‑out orders. Today was the last straw: the gravy from my meal leaked all over my car because it was put in a flimsy white container and not even placed in a to‑go bag. It’s the kind of basic attention that should be standard.I’ve never left a review before because I genuinely enjoy the food, but the service is awful. No greeting, no thank you, no effort. It’s really disappointing because this place could be so much better with just a little care.
