Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant in Union

Customer service is horrible. The ladies who work there are VERY rude.

I have been a regular customer at Golden Krust for quite some time and previously had no issues. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have changed that. On Monday, October 12, 2026, I paid almost $23 for an ackee breakfast. I was disappointed to find four pieces of plantain filling one section of the container and only a small portion of ackee in the other. I consider plantain a side, and the meal did not meet my expectations for the price. I returned Tuesday with a photo to explain my concern. Management was in a meeting, so I spoke with the employee who served me. She offered to replace the meal, which I declined. I later spoke with management and received an apology. I returned Wednesday to purchase two patties without any issues. However, this morning, I waited approximately 10 minutes with no one available to serve me. A cook explained that the server had gone to get management. When the same employee returned, she stood with her arms folded. I requested two spicy beef patties, but she gave no response and continued looking at me. Feeling ignored, I left. This was once my go to morning spot, but I will not be returning. Customers should be able to raise a concern and still receive courteous, professional service. Being ignored while trying to make a purchase is unacceptable.
