Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant in Irvington

I’ve given this restaurant grace time and time again because I frequent this location often. However, there’s no reason why the medium and large dinner portions should appear nearly identical. Customers are paying hard-earned money, especially in today’s economy, and there should be a clear difference in portion sizes when paying more for a “large” meal. The customer service is also disappointing. The cooks do a great job with the food itself, but the women serving the food consistently display poor attitudes when customers politely request additional items or ask questions about their order. Customers have every right to make requests when they are spending money at your establishment. I always spend at least a good 50 dollars three times a week. No RESPECT especially from dark skinned bigger woman. Businesses should value and appreciate loyal customers instead of responding with arrogance or frustration. Hospitality and kindness matter just as much as the food. While the food can be enjoyable, there are honestly better Jamaican restaurants in the area — this location is simply convenient because it’s close to my job. Golden Krust should focus more on customer satisfaction, fair portions, and respectful service. Ensuring customers leave happy should always be a priority.
