About Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant
A fast-casual takeout or dine-in Caribbean & Jamaican restaurant, conveniently situated on the corner of Highway 34 East and Shenandoah Road in Newnan. Known for their family recipes of classic Caribbean food staples, from Jamaican beef patties and coco bread, to jerk chicken, oxtail, and curried goat or chicken. Offerings now include vegetarian and beyond meat alternatives. The bakery boasts numerous enticing options including spice bun, hard dough bread, and carrot cake (among many more delectable items).
New to the area, order some oxtails for pick up, kinda pricey but non the less it was good. The worker and the atmosphere was clean. Ashley helped me out with catering and takeout menus, nice girl. Will definitely visit again, really homey vibes in there.
I’m really disappointed in this spot. This used to be a mainstay for us. Food was never excellent, but it was generally reliable. We visited again this week after it had been a while and the service and quality have significantly diminished. There were flies everywhere, the workers were not wearing gloves while handling food, and customer service was nonexistent. We were given a stale piece of cocoa bread. It was rancid. We took it back, not an apology or anything. They replaced the bread with a fresher piece, but wouldn’t even look at us. Truly disappointed. We will not be returning. Another local restaurant to cross from our list.
