This Golden Krust location in Sunrise across from the Sawgrass Mall is by far one of the best in South Florida that I visit frequently. The staff is always friendly and attentive. As well, they always have music playing. The TV is always on and the restaurant appears to be in clean condition, but most importantly is the food! The food in my opinion is authentic, well prepared, well seasoned, and very flavorful. There is not a time that I come away unsatisfied with my food choice selections. So, in summary if you’re looking for a great experience of Jamaican food, you won’t be disappointed if you’ve never tried this location before.

I have recently been to two other Jamaican restaurants and promised I Wiil only eat at Golden Krust on Sunrise Boulevard (across from Sawgrass mall) Why? The minute you open the door, you are greeted by the welcome staff. The food is well presented- no messy areas at the display counter. The food looks fresh and clean with a good variety to choose from. I love the Daily Specials, which makes it affordable. The staff are very engaging, I am a West Indian (Bajan) and if I am not sure what an item is they are happy to allow me to sample it before I make my final choice. When I need a home cooked meal Golden Kristen always comes too mind.
