About Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant
A fast-casual takeout or dine-in Caribbean & Jamaican restaurant, conveniently situated on the corner of W Colonial Drive and N Kirkman Road in Orlando. Known for their family recipes of classic Caribbean food staples, from Jamaican beef patties and coco bread, to jerk chicken, oxtail, and curried goat or chicken. Offerings now include vegetarian and beyond meat alternatives. The bakery boasts numerous enticing options including spice bun, hard dough bread, and carrot cake (among many more delectable items).
Great jamaican food Always consistant Service was great
I recently tried Golden Krust and had the jerk chicken with rice & peas and cabbage, along with a cream soda. Honestly, it was disappointing. The cabbage was lacking flavor, the rice was overly soft and also bland, and the jerk chicken was extremely spicy (to the point it overpowered everything) and pretty dry. For a small meal, the total came out to about $19, which didn’t feel worth it based on the quality. Overall, I’d rate it a 2/5. I might consider giving them another shot to try something different, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t go back for the same meal.
