About Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

A fast-casual takeout or dine-in Caribbean & Jamaican restaurant, conveniently situated on the corner of W Colonial Drive and N Kirkman Road in Orlando. Known for their family recipes of classic Caribbean food staples, from Jamaican beef patties and coco bread, to jerk chicken, oxtail, and curried goat or chicken. Offerings now include vegetarian and beyond meat alternatives. The bakery boasts numerous enticing options including spice bun, hard dough bread, and carrot cake (among many more delectable items).

I hate making reviews like this but unfortunately it happens. I order a chicken roti they said they don’t wrap it I said ok I’ll wrap it I’m not from here and I’m driving I want to eat it while driving i’m used to buying my roti from Singh’s Roti were the skin is soft, delicious, the meat of choice is plentiful and wrapped. I was told no to one more piece of chicken, the skin was reheated and crunchy ugh. I asked for a plate to wrap the roti and was told it’s a fee with an attitude i’m just letting you know in case you come back here in the future. I have over 15 Million google views so hopefully they don’t have to experience what I did. A little customer service goes a long way. I was also reminded that they close in 20 minutes as if they were rushing me out so I reassured them that I was not sitting down to eat. I was just wrapping my roti and then I will be on my way. I also ordered a brown stew chicken but haven’t tasted it yet. I definitely won’t be back. Two additional customers came after I did and were turned away. I feel sorry for the owners. The customer service was quite the experience and I don’t mean that in a good way!

Staff is rude and inattentive. I walked in and no one speaks to me or let you know where the line starts. They just take orders from their regulars while i just stand there. And then once I tell them that I've been here and no one's helped me, they blame me for not standing in the right spot. After I place my order, I pay with cash, they hand me back the paper change, but keep my coin change. I will not be returning to pay good money for terrible service.
