About Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

A fast-casual takeout Caribbean & Jamaican restaurant, conveniently situated on NW 7th Avenue in Miami Gardens near Rolling Oaks Park. Known for their family recipes of classic Caribbean food staples, from Jamaican beef patties and coco bread, to jerk chicken, oxtail, and curried goat or chicken. Offerings now include vegetarian and beyond meat alternatives. The bakery boasts numerous enticing options including spice bun, hard dough bread, and carrot cake (among many more delectable items).

⭐☆☆☆☆ I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. I ordered saltfish and received a plate that was mostly onions, peppers, and plantains with barely any fish at all. For $14, it felt like a complete waste of money. To make matters worse, when I called to ask about getting a replacement the next morning, the person who answered gave me the runaround. She told me to call back when the manager was in, but couldn’t tell me when that would be. When I asked for the manager’s name, she said she didn’t know which manager would be there. The whole interaction felt very unprofessional. Definitely not what I expected, and I won’t be ordering again.

My last experience with this location was horrible. The server was very loud, aggressive, and just downright unprofessional. She was talking consistently while sharing the food, shouting at a male (possibly from the kitchen) all while serving. She was rude and just overall not suitable for the service area. Sadly, the hominy porridge was good, but if it comes with this behavior, then I'd rather go somewhere else.
