About Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

A fast-casual takeout Caribbean & Jamaican restaurant, conveniently situated on East Main Street in Stratford near I-95. Known for their family recipes of classic Caribbean food staples, from Jamaican beef patties and coco bread, to jerk chicken, oxtail, and curried goat or chicken. Offerings now include vegetarian and beyond meat alternatives. The bakery boasts numerous enticing options including spice bun, hard dough bread, and carrot cake (among many more delectable items).

The staff here at the Stratford CT location are very rude and disrespectful! The woman that they have there working at this location now are the worst! They always have attitudes and they are Never nice! I spent lots of money there for catering events and for my family and everytime I go there They are very rude and disrespectful! They need a whole new crew of workers that are nice and respectful to customers! I will no longer spend my money at this establishment and I will also share my experience with all my family and friends! No one should go there! Until they train their staff about customer service this place will not see me again! Can’t spend money with people with nasty attitudes and horrible customer service skills!

I use to get chicken soup here often , there food is a bit pricey but it was convenient. Lately I felt like it tasted different . Today it was pretty watery and flavor less. I didn't finish it. Who know maybe the cook changed. I also got a salmon which I have had and Is usually moist for my mom. But when I got home it was pretty dry not worth it. I hope the taste goes back to how it was so I don't have to drive super far to get something simple.

Expensive food for not good enough quality. The patties were not good, the jerk pasta was watery and chicken tough, the Mac and cheese was burnt to the no flavor. Horrible nasty food. Need a real chef up in there.
